Until recently, real estate agents always represented the seller, not the buyer, in real estate transactions. Even the real estate agent who drove you from house to house looking at properties was not working on your behalf. Abiding by old laws, the agent was always required to get the highest price and best terms possible for the seller!

I am committed to the educational requirements necessary to become an Accredited Buyer's Representative, (ABR) and earned the ABR designation in 2004. The ABR designation, the benchmark of excellence in real estate buyer representation, demonstrates to my clients that I have taken the steps to continue my education in the field of buyer representation, and possess the proven experience and training to deliver ethical and professional service to my buyer clients.
Before you even take the first step out of your door, as your Louisville Realtor®,I will furnish you with a detailed list of all listings on the Multiple Listing Service, (MLS) that meet your search criteria and initialize a process to enable you to receive automatic email notifications of all new listings meeting your search criteria. This means that you will see the new listings just as quickly as I see them! My buyer clients love this feature.
Prior to making an offer on a property you will want to get pre-approved with a reputable lender. You will want to gain as much information as you possibly can about a property so that you can make an informed decision. You'll need a comparable market analysis to make certain that you don't pay more than you should. You will need to locate home inspectors, termite inspectors, septic inspectors, and possibly surveyors. I can do all of this for you and much more!
